Pickers & Packers are the backbone of dark store operations. They locate items on shelves, pick them accurately, and pack orders for delivery within minutes.
A typical shift involves receiving order alerts on a handheld device, navigating store aisles to pick items quickly, checking for quality/expiry, packing orders securely, and handing them to delivery partners. Speed and accuracy are key - stores aim for 2-3 minute order fulfillment.
This Swiggy Instamart dark store in Kalwa serves the surrounding residential and commercial belt, which keeps order volume steady throughout the day.
What you'll do
- •Pick items from shelves against live customer orders on a handheld scanner
- •Pack orders into delivery bags, checking quantity and expiry dates
- •Help receive new stock when inventory trucks arrive
- •Keep shelves organized and refill fast-moving SKUs
- •Hand packed orders to delivery partners at the dispatch point
Requirements
- •Aadhaar card
- •Basic smartphone literacy
- •Physically fit for standing and lifting up to 15kg
- •10th pass or above (not strictly enforced)

Your take-home at this job
₹14,000 /month base
+ up to ₹1,500 attendance bonus
+ ₹70–110/hr overtime (if opted)
With 20 hrs overtime + full attendance: ₹16,400 – ₹17,700
